11/24/2005: "Morocco"

Took the train to Algeciras on Monday and from there the ferry, (that was surprisingly decorated with Corto Maltese drawings), across to Tangiers/Morocco. Im enjoying the relaxing, laid back nature of Fez at the momment having visited places such as the tannaries (also check this, this, and this one inlcuding 2 video clips 1 and 2) and the medina. I also paid a visit to the infamous Deans Bar which was also a Hemmingway favourite. Further south we visited the sea side city and port of Rabat including a fortress or kasban as it is called that it apparently also serves as a stop for migrating storks. The trip ended in Marakesh where we enjoyed several meals at the square Jamai Fna.(video of the square)
