01/02/2006: "2006 Resolutions"

First day back to work tommorow and Im a bit freaked out the holidays went past so quickly. I have made a number of resolutions this year spanning across both my professional and personal life. but i wont go into detail about that.

There is a deadline for a conference paper I need to make for the 6th and my book report due to my editor on the 7th. I also have to prepare for my trip to Los Angeles on the 10 of February which seems to be approaching fast.Have to take my car to a garage tommorow as well, after severely damaging the exhaust. I guess Fords aren't build for repeatedly skidding on snow! yeah Im really still 18 at heart....

I started reading Dante's Equation after all the good comments I heard about this book. It was writen by a Computer Scientist so I uess it is my kind of thing. Looks promising so far. Heard from my old pal Haris G. yesterday too, which cheered me up. I will hopefully see him soon in the new year. Happy new year...
