04/17/2006: "Easter being and gone."
Well as ever, Christ is safe back in the heavens enjoying eternal hallelujahs (if you are a catholic that is, orthodox easter is next sunday) while the rest of us mortals are getting ready to go back to work. Easter weekend is over and I am proud to say that I did nothing apart from enjoying a much needed rest. I still haven't managed to catch up with all my emails, and I still need to disseminate calls for conference papers, for which I'm a committee member. I will catch up with emails, phonecalls and meetings this week.
It wasn't all rosy though this long weekend. Unfortunately, I spent the entire morning on the side of a busy road waiting for AA (that is AAA for American readers) after my car gave up on me on the way to get the morning paper. Eventually, after 130pounds and 2 hours trying to locate and fix the damage I had to be towed to a garage. Probably devine intervention I guess in return for all my blasphemy :-)
On the plus, side I found out about a 2nd publication for this to which I brielfy contributed relating to my work on analysing the structural characteristics of Linux. The paper is mainly writen by 2 colleagues and can be found inside these proceedings. It is on page 90 of the 3rd Volume. I am expecting the results of another paper this month and if this 3rd one is also successful it will mark the most successfull month in terms of published work. Note to self: Speak to publisher about the prospect of publishing my Linux work in one of their journals.
*Note: On behalf of Dr. Zoidberg I apologise for offending any Christians.
